Hi Jamie. Here you are!

Movies I Can Watch Over & Over:

  • Not many. However, I did watch Grease about 5 times a long time ago (don’t tell anyone).
  • And I watched Cry Freedom 8 times for a film class (and didn’t get tired of watching it at all … one of my favorite films…I should put it in my NetFlix queue now that you got me thinking about it).
  • Oh yeah, I can watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original) every year; it doesn’t matter how old I am. It’s just that now when I watch it, if I have some kids around watching it with me it looks better.

Guilty Pleasures:

  • These days, a beer (especially not a light beer).
  • Or a good glass of wine.
  • Pizza (you cannot get good pizza in Somerville, by the way).
  • Potato chips (can I just say that I need the salt? No, I guess not.)
  • Wait! Why am I thinking this is all about food. Okay! Ha! Does this have to do with training and trying to drop a size to fit back into my regular clothes? Okay, ummm… Changing gears….

Guilty Pleasures, take two:

  • A day at the beach
  • A massage (not the clinical kind….I’m talking a spa massage)
  • Pedicure (yes, I am a woman)

A few places I have lived:

  • Rhode Island
  • London
  • Massachusetts

TV Shows I enjoy:

I really don’t watch much TV, but I like:

  • Law & Order (the original)
  • The Office
  • Scrubs
  • Grey’s Anatomy
  • Globe Trekker (only with the British host)
  • Julia Child, but she's not on anymore :(
  • And it’s a good thing I don’t have cable, or else I’d be watching the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel and the Food TV Network!

Some Places I have been on vacation:

  • Martha’s Vineyard
  • The Adirondacks (hmmm…)
  • New Hampshire
  • Poland
  • Canada
  • England
  • France
  • Belize
  • Prague
  • Dublin

Favorite Foods

Okay, back to this, eh?

  • Pizza
  • Oysters
  • Field tomatoes with fresh basil
  • Indian food – the spicer the better
  • Salmon
  • Green beans
  • Bread
  • Pumpkin pie
  • Salt & vinegar potato chips
  • Blackberries & Kiwi fruit

Websites I visit daily:

  • Daily? The Globe.
  • Lots more, but not every day

Body Parts I have injured (you really want to know this?):

  • Fractures & sprains - both ankles. Still have a weak left ankle & have my daily exercises that I need to get better at consistently doing...
  • Stress Fx, R tibia
  • Hurt both knees in a stupid accident, but believe it or not they've felt better these past three years after I started running.
  • A couple other nomimal things, I'm sure.

Awards You've Won:

  • A few in HS & college that are too boring to list. And more recently, an appreciation plaque from a client which was a nice surprise.
  • Oh, I was selected to compete in the World Parliamentary Debate Champsionship Tournament in Dublin, Ireland when I was in college. (And no, I was not a geek.)

Nicknames You've Been Called:

  • Never have been called any nicknames really outside of the usual, cutesy ones. And the occasional nicknames that pop up during Reach the Beach Relay weekends (but I'm not sharing those!)

Pick Five Others to Complete:

  • I gladly fill these out (yes, I like taking surveys), but I don’t continue the chain. Uh-oh, does that mean I will have bad luck? However, if you read this and feel so inclined, just tell me, so I can read about you :)

Now that you mention it... I have had some pretty awful pizzas in Somerville..

How sad...

Although DeMio in Cambridge on Mass Ave has treated me pretty well.
